I was always curious why, because of CSImadmax, Twilight was always given Ichigo's powers when personality and ability-wise, Twilight Sparkle would be an obvious Rukia or even Uryuu and Rainbow Dash would be an obvious Ichigo Kurosaki.
I'm not criticizing in the least, I'm just making an observation from my perspective. Ichigo's abilities would be completely incompatible with Twilight Sparkle's personality, and, lets face it....since Rainbow Dash is the common sense and proactive member of the group, while Twilight is the brains and reactive leader of the group...their status as main character is interchangeable, so the 'Twilight is main character' excuse doesn't make a lick of sense. (In fact, the fact that CSImadmax gave Rainbow Dash the powers of a very forgettable avenger, made me think she didn't give much thought into Rainbow Dash's personality. The most non-comic book readers know about Ms. Marvel is that Rogue from X-men stole her powers.)
I mean, wouldn't the Getsuga Tenshou be interchangeable with the Sonic Rainboom in way of mastery, awe and devastation? Neither have magic or kido, they both use raw energy. Exact opposites of Twilight and Rukia. Not that Twilight Sparkle doesn't look excellent with the costume, which she does.
Bleach and MLP is a very promising crossover, and I'm in the middle of creating a shonen style crossover fanfic of the two. A large well-written one, not half-assed at all and no breaking continuity or altering personalities far beyond their vector. I hope I can get help with beta-ing my crossover story when it is finished in a few months, and I was wondering if I can send you the draft to get your initial idea on the story?
